Swap Greek Yogurt for Sour Cream

Greek yogurt is currently having its moment in the spotlight and for good reason! Compared to regular yogurt, Greek yogurt is typically higher in protein and lower in sodium, sugar, fat and cholesterol. Plain Greek yogurt can also be used as a swap for sour cream because it has a similar taste, consistency and appearance. Greek yogurt is more healthful than sour cream because it is lower in cholesterol and saturated fat. Greek yogurt is also lower in calories (there are 134 fewer calories in 100 grams of non-fat Greek yogurt than in the same amount of sour cream).
