About Our Center
The Zuckerman Family Center for Prevention and Health Promotion (ZFCPHP) focuses on conducting high-quality, lifestyle-based prevention research and supporting community wellness efforts to improve health and reduce disease risk.
With a strong focus on youth health and working alongside the Tucson community, we collaborate with departments across campus and organizations throughout Tucson to make health and wellness education accessible to all.
Our Key Values
Our center advances health literacy and sustainable behavior change by connecting education, training, outreach, and research. We collaborate with students, researchers, and community partners to provide applied public health experiences, promote wellness in daily life, and develop programs that support healthy development and lifelong well-being for individuals, families and our Tucson community.
Gain hands-on public health experience through internships, field placements, honors theses, and student worker opportunities across Tucson.
Through partnerships across Tucson, we're proud to offer programs that support health and wellness in our community.
We foster partnerships across the community and university, working together to advance research that promotes health and well-being.
